Glad that he was compliant for today’s activity. There were some stimming’s but he managed to finish all the activities that I gave him. This is the last one, practicing his reading.

They are not undisciplined or trying to be annoying or even intentionally disturbing other people - this is what autism spectrum looks like. This is their way of navigating that overwhelming feeling through stimming. They have no control over when their mind and emotions starts to make them feel and act the way they do.

Happy because he gets to go on a joy ride. He’s contented even if just by means of going around somewhere, then stops over at mcdo or 7/11.

This is just an ordinary day. Most of the time he tries to talk by doing a pretend play or would randomly sing while holding his makeshift wiper or any object that would get his attention when he stims.

One of the things about him is that when he’s happy or in a good mood he sings a lot. Since he gets to spend time in the play house, he is in his happy place. And most of the time we choose to bring him at the mall during the opening hours to avoid crowds and that he can be himself. It’s not that we are keeping him from socializing, but just to be sure that he starts to stim he won’t scare or bother anyone.

He called and showed me from his iPad the name of the toy he wants to buy. I asked him to read it for me and he did it. Iba talaga kapag mag gusto - motivated! 😅 but so proud of his progress 👏👏👏
