She is Still Called

1 hour just to make my coffee.

Motherhood season makes me SLOW.
Kahit pagtimpla ng kape, nagtatagal ako.
Dahil ba wala na akong energy?
Dahil ba pagod ako?

Hindi.
She makes me slow.
She makes me slow down in life.
"Mommy, can I help?"
At age of 4, she makes espresso coffee BETTER than her daddy.

Since 2 years old, she always wanted to help.
At first, ayoko.
Kasi, kapeng-kape na talaga ako.
But she's happy. She enjoys it.
Being involved, being helpful.

Now at 4, she can make me a cup of coffee.
But it takes us longer.

It know it's just a season,
And I will miss this season.

She taught me how to slow down in life.
Bakit nga ba laging nagmamadali tayong mga grown ups?

You once had a dream, pero wait lang muna...

You were once filled with excitement
Yet now, life feels heavier
New responsibilities,
New roles,

Sister, friend, breadwinner,
Wife, mother,
Cook, housekeeper, employee
Etc

Somewhere along the way,
You started to believe that you changed
Nag-iba kana,
Di mo na kilala ang sarili mo
Maybe, You lost your fire
You "used" to be "that woman"
But not anymore.

Let me share this gently,
From a woman to a woman
Who felt just like that,

You didn't lose your glow,
You paused.

Pause doesn't mean "No"
A pause doesn't mean failure
A paused doesn't mean not anymore.

Pause means, parked.
You are being preserved, prepared,
As you carry your responsibilities now,
You are being taught

You are not late
You are not behind
You are not disqualified

YOU ARE STILL CALLED.

Our greatest treasure, is when our child grows up knowing the Word of God and worships Him in spirit and in truth. And it is our obligations as parents to train them the way they should go.

Here’s our First Christmas Advent for Eua 💕 Excited to do it with her starting tomorrow.

How do we plan to do it?
1. Share the assigned verse for the day.
2. Tell her the story
3. Teach her that Christmas is Jesus’ Birthday
4. Teach her to pray
5. Give her a small gift and share how much Jesus loves her that even though it is His birthday, she is the one who receives a gift.

Kung alam lang to ang lahat ng mag-asawa, they will experience the best in life.

Couples should stop arguing on small things and start agreeing in things that matter.

In the first 3 years of our marriage, ang daming namin time mag-iringan sa maliliit na bagay. Para kasi sakin, lahat importante kahit maliliit na bagay. Akala ko. Pero nakakapagod. Di pala lahat importante.

When we started to learn what are the top 5 things that are important to us. We began to prioritize only those things. We call them our Values.

He has his Top 5 Values. I got mine.
And we have our Top 5 Family Values too.

That way, we understand better kung anong mahalaga sakanya, ganun din sakin. Kapag nakakainis, pero di naman talaga mahalaga, dedma. Not worth our time and energy.

Then, we started agreeing on what MATTERS. On our dreams, our goals, our life-design. We say, YES AND AMEN!

This is when we are the strongest. When we agree together. When we are each other’s partner not enemy.

Our 2025 Year Goals Journey has been AMAZING! WOW na WOW talaga!
At may 5 months pa. Salamat talaga Lord!

Kung alam lang namin to noon, ay ewan ko ba hahahha buti nalang may restoration.
