The PUP College of Accountancy and Finance Student Council (CAF SC) is seeking for assistance for one of our fellow students, 𝗠𝘀. Jacklyn Jane Miro, a 3rd Year BSBA-FM Student, whose father suffers from diabetes and severe complications which led to amputation of his right foot. Their family is in need of financial assistance to help cover the hospital bills and medication.

The PUP College of Accountancy and Finance Student Council continues to strengthen student representation and responsive leadership as it held a successful two-part consultation last January 21, 2026 and February 4, 2026.

Providing a platform wherein students are free to express their experiences, this event outlined and accommodated their challenges, academic journey, matters relevant to the preceding final examination, and faculty-related concerns, as well as any issues that they encountered during the semester.

The program featured an open dialogue and problem-solving between the Council and student leaders, formulating a unified framework agreed upon by everyone. Ending with a formulation of collective actions to address the pressing concerns on both academic and non-academic matters, this has guaranteed that the student concerns, conveyed through respective Class Representatives, are handled promptly, transparently, and with accountability, in line with the Council’s principles of serving.

The Council extends its unfeigned gratitude to all participants for their meaningful contributions and sprightly participation. We remain committed in upholding our mandate to represent and respond to the needs and concerns of the CAF student body.

1. In line with its objectives, the 𝐏𝐔𝐏 𝐂𝐀𝐅 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 launched the 𝐂𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐅: 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 initiative for 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. This project aims to provide students with an 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 containing 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨, and 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 that handle and respond to 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, including 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 and 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 who specialize in supporting victims.

Through this project, the 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧, ensuring that 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 have 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, and 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 they deserve.

2. The 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 is a community‑driven donation initiative established to extend meaningful assistance to individuals in need within the university and its surrounding areas. The program mobilizes collective generosity by gathering essential goods, resources, and support materials that directly benefit those seeking help due to personal, social, or economic challenges. The program upholds principles of compassion, solidarity, and community responsiveness, emphasizing the importance of shared responsibility in supporting vulnerable members of the community.

3. The 𝐂𝐀𝐅 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 is an accessible document for every 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 that will serve as their 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬, helping and guiding them in navigating university life. It 𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐀𝐅 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫. CAF Concerns Compilation Directories provides 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 they need inside the campus, both 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 and 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲. The 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐒) is launching the 𝐂𝐀𝐅-𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤 and 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥: 𝐔 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 initiative that aims to help ang guide every Manunuos ng Bayan in finding answers and solution to their concerns and questions.

𝟏. 𝐂𝐀𝐅-𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤
The 𝐂𝐀𝐅-𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤 or the Student Council Page Chatbot, is designed to 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 and 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 of every CAF students. The desk will be open from 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟴:𝟬𝟬𝗣𝗠 (𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆).

𝟐. 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐔: 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦
The 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐔: 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 will serve as a 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 for students to 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬, or 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 within the organization. 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘁𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 by the council. These will be forwarded to the assigned offices and committees. Each grievance 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟭–𝟯 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, and 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟱–𝟳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀.

These initiative embody the values of 𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗽𝘄𝗮 and 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘁 by providing students with a 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 and 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 for inquiries, concerns and emotional support.

Talaga namang naglalagablab ang diwa at puso ng bawat estudyante sa CAF AVR! ❤️‍🔥 Kasalukuyang nagaganap ang Year Level Consultation na may layong tugunan ang bawat katanungan, hinaing, at mga isyu ng bawat isa. Hindi lamang sa pang-akademiko, kung hindi maging ang personal at sa iba pang aspeto. Kaya ano pang hinihintay niyo?! Halina't makinig at umibig—dahil ang umiibig ay nakikinig! At ang pakikinig at ang pag-ibig ay isa sa mga naguudyok upang masolusyunan at magkaroon tayo nang maayos na sistema at mapabuti ang kalidad ng ating edukasyon. ✊🏻

Ang Umiibig ay Nakikinig: Sa bawat hakbang ng ating paglalakbay sa akademya, mahalaga ang pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan at isyu na may kinalaman sa ating pag-aaral at komunidad. Sa konsultasyon na ito ng mga mag-aaral, muling ipinapaalala sa atin na ang tunay na pag-ibig sa edukasyon ay hindi lamang nakatutok sa personal na tagumpay kundi sa pagtulong at pagkalinga sa isa't isa. Ang bawat pananaw, opinyon, at suhestiyon ay may halaga. Sa pagtugon sa mga kagyat na isyu at pang-akademikong hamon, tayo ay nagiging mas matibay na komunidad na nagmamahal, nagmamalasakit, at nagkakaisa para sa tagumpay ng bawat isa. Nakikinig tayo, nag-uusap, at nagkakaroon ng solusyon upang mapabuti ang ating sistema at mapanatili ang kalidad ng edukasyon para sa lahat.✊🏻

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐨𝐰 | Join the PUP College of Accountancy and Finance Student Council as they hold a Town Hall Consultation entitled "𝗗𝗲𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗔𝗙 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀" via Zoom, to address the persisting inadequate student spaces on campus as we’re left with insufficient resources for the spaces we desperately need for studying, athletics, organizations, and growth for student merchants.

Meeting links have been distributed to class representatives. CAF students are highly encouraged to participate to help shape the solutions we advocate for and stand up for the needs of every student. Let’s rise above these challenges and push for the spaces we all deserve.
