Every year, the Art Society organizes an acquaintance party for its' members in order for us to get to know each other better and to establish a much closer relationship with each and every batch/year level. For this school year, the party's theme is "Artists as Superheroes".

"Art of Love = Love of Art"

Feb-ibig is collaboration with other orgs for the celebration of Valentines Day 14th Feb 2017, Art Society exhibited artworks from members who expressed what does love do to art or what does art do to love.

In celebration of National Arts Month, Art Society exhibited artworks around 2nd and 3rd Floor St. Mechtild building, 2nd St Ottilien building and front of Barrion Hall.

We believe that exposing the artworks through exhibition will boost the artists' passion and confidence in making their crafts. Even to the non-arts and design students who took Art Appreciation class.

As part of the celebration for Art Society's Organization week, an artist was invited to share his insights about the many aspects of art.

Thank you to our speaker Anjo Bolarda, who gave helpful advice to the young artists of Art Society which he had acquired from his years of experience as an artist.

The Art Society's Team Building activity helped members strengthen their bonds through accomplishing games together as a team.

Women Empowerment Art Competition: Reshaping the Contemporary era through Women Empowerment.

Mechanics:

1. OPEN to ALL ORGANIZATIONS. We are encouraging all organizations to join and participate.
2.Participants/ Contestants must be in a group, 1 organization is considered 1 group. All members of the organization can help as long as they are members of the said organization.
3.Organizations or groups have to get the Application Form to collect the number. The number will be placed on the artworks during judging to avoid impartially.

5. Certificates and Cash Prize will be given to the winners of the competition.
6. Deadline of artworks will be on March 1, 2017.
7. Exhibition will be on March 9, 2017.
