is a school for children between the ages of three to six years old, staffed by qualified teachers and other professionals who encourage and supervise educational play rather than simply providing childcare. The curriculum goals of a Nursery, Kinder, and Prep are more specific compare to childcare, but less strenuous than for primary school. Preschool is an early childhood program in which children combine learning with play in a program run by professional trained adults. Children are most commonly enrolled in a preschool between the ages of three and six years old, though those as young as two can attend some schools. Preschools are different from traditional day care in that their emphasis is learning and development rather than enabling parents to work or pursue other activities.
