“Mapping should begin while the client is lying down and with their eyes closed. Then, ask the client to sit up and open up their eyes to see how their muscles contract. Followed, engage into a little conversation to see how they move their muscles while expressing. Ask them to look up, down and to the sides and lastly to smile. Mapping must look most symmetrical when the client is sitting up, has eyes closed, then has eyes open but muscles are fully relaxed and when they genuinely smile. 😊
