Today, we commemorate 𝟒𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 since the 𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

From February 22 to 25, 1986, we remember the courage of those who stood their ground for freedom and democracy. Their bravery marked a turning point in our nation’s history, reminding us of the true cost of freedom and the enduring value of justice.

The EDSA People Power Revolution stands as a reminder that real change begins when citizens stand together, grounded in truth, justice, and accountability. May its legacy push us to do the same: defend our rights, and fight to protect our democracy. Let it remind us that freedom is upheld by those who choose to speak up and refuse to be indifferent. May we carry that responsibility with courage, remain firm in our principles, and continue working toward a just and democratic society for all.

The USG Judiciary, together with the USG Office of the Ombudsman, conducted a courtesy visit to the DLSU Laguna Campus Student Government (LCSG) to discuss concerns brought before their respective offices.

Following the dialogue, the USG Judiciary commits to strengthening its support in handling student grievances of the Laguna Campus, improving the recruitment of Laguna-based Judiciary personnel, and enhancing the publicity of its legal services to ensure accessible, efficient, and equitable justice for students across the campuses.

Through this initiative, the USG Judiciary reaffirms its commitment to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding fairness, accountability, and justice within the University Student Government system.
