Experiencing difficulty in learning can mean much more, as there are neurodevelopemental conditions that affect how a person processes and expresses information. In Specific Learning Disorders (SLDs), which generally appear in the form of dyslexia (reading), dyscalculia (math), or dysgraphia (writing), early awareness and proper support can make a meaningful difference.

This pubmat highlights the risk factors, common signs and symptoms, diagnosis, myths vs. facts, and available interventions for SLDs to help promote understanding and reduce stigma.

"The youth is the hope of our future."

The To Our Youth (TOY) Project, A Filipino Nutrition Booklet and Outreach Program, recently concluded its onsite outreach at the Bahay Tuluyan Foundation, held last April 25, 2026. ✨🧑

Thank you to the volunteers who shared their valuable time to share our booklet entitled, "Tara sa Daang Kalusugan!," teaching children Filipino nutrition and healthy eating habits. 🍎

We would also like to thank the Bahay Tuluyan Foundation for giving us this opportunity to educate the children and to bring smiles to their faces! πŸ§‘β€πŸ«

ADHD is not just being β€œdistracted,” but a real, complex neurodevelopmental condition affecting millions of people worldwide.

It is not a lack of intelligence, discipline, or effort. It is a different way of thinking, one that often comes with creativity, resilience, passion, and unique problem-solving abilities. With the right understanding, early guidance, and a mix of behavioral support and care, kids with ADHD can thrive.
