ICAM PDO ADVOCACIES:
EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP ADVOCACY
As an educational system, ICAM adheres to the fundamental principle that every individual has the right to education directed to the development of his/her whole person. The ability to gain knowledge, access positive learning opportunities, and apply skills are cornerstones of healthy human development. Unfortunately, not all school-aged children are enrolled in school. Children from economically disadvantaged families must have an access to free quality education. Scholarships will open doors for poor but deserving students to gain access to ICAM education. INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
In order to fully experience the implementation of a holistic educational apostolate balanced with facilities and conducive learning environment, the need to equip our school with infrastructure is essential. Thus, we uphold to ensure that we can provide the necessary facilities needed in our educational institution . HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Human resource development will foster a work environment that will enable all employees to embrace the thanksgiving spirit of ICAM and promote the mission of the school. It aims to support and assist faculty and staff in achieving an appropriate balance among professional, social, personal and family commitments. ICAM administrators believe that employees are an institution’s greatest asset thus, the HRD program of the school strives to provide competitive benefits and various plans aim to attract, retain, and motivate smart, dedicated, and innovative employees. COMMUNITY OUTREACH:
The ICAM School Community, in the spirit of gratitude, is following the call of Pope Francis of not to lose sight of God’s message: to have mercy and compassion for the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and stand with the sick. Love, the very essence of the Gospel, heartened the entire workforce to be conscientiously committed and in action in its Community Outreach in joyful service such as Alay Aral, K4 – Kabarangay Ko, Kapuso at Kapamilya, Christmas Gift-Giving, Livelihood Projects, Community Library Keeping, Church Activity Assistance, Feeding Program, Medical and Dental Mission, Assistance to Calamity Victims, and other unforeseen outreach endeavors. As we put our hearts in this cause, we look forward to withstand the challenges that lie ahead, the cause that was also envisioned by the MIC Foundress Mother Delia Tetreault. SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
ICAM believes that evangelization through education provides its clients the opportunity to experience God’s goodness and that the development of one’s spirituality is in line with His plan for our life. Thus, ICAM considers as one of its priorities the spiritual development of its students, teachers, and personnel. Meaningful undertakings such as retreats, recollections, reception of sacraments, especially the Eucharistic celebrations, are held regularly in view of forming a community whose members try to live according to Christian standards and who in turn will become a blessing to others. SPORTS, CULTURE, AND ARTS
Having committed itself to the holistic way children learn and grow, ICAM continues to provide opportunities that promote sports and talent development and cultural awareness among students even with limited resources and facilities. Believing in the various potentials of each child, the Sports, Culture and Arts Program envisions to offer services designed for physical fitness and wellness of students and to hold activities that hone and enhance their talents, abilities and values for appreciation, promotion and preservation of national culture and multi-cultural heritage of the country and the world as well. Integrally interwoven, the physical, social, cultural dimensions of the child’s development are placed among the school’s absolute priorities.
