My personal coat of arms represents my life and vocation as a Secular Franciscan, Lawyer, Sociologist, and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
At the center lies the shield, divided into four quarters, each signifying a vital aspect of my identity.
In the first quarter, set on a brown field, stands the red Tau Cross, the mark of the Franciscan Order, under which appear golden knots, a reminder of the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience embraced in the Franciscan way of life.
The second quarter, on a silver field, depicts the scales of justice above an open book, symbolizing my calling as a lawyer and scholar of law, guided by the pursuit of fairness, order, and wisdom.
The third quarter, on a blue field, contains three interlinked silver rings crowned with a lamp of knowledge, representing my vocation as a sociologist, dedicated to understanding the interconnectedness of society and illuminating truth through scholarship.
The fourth quarter, on a red field, bears a golden chalice with a white host above it, signifying my service as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, my devotion to the Eucharist, and my mission to serve Christ present in His people.
Above the shield rests the crest, a white dove carrying an olive branch, emblem of the Holy Spirit who guides and strengthens my mission of peace, charity, and reconciliation.
Supporting the shield are two figures: to the dexter side, a golden lion, symbol of courage, strength, and justice; and to the sinister side, an angel clothed in brown, embodying prayer, humility, and the Franciscan spirit of service.
Flowing around the shield is the mantling in brown and blue, recalling both Franciscan simplicity and the pursuit of truth. Beneath the shield, on a scroll, is my chosen motto:
“Veritas in Caritate, Pax et Bonum” — “Truth in Charity, Peace and Good,” uniting my Franciscan identity with my professional and spiritual mission.
