NEW PH RECORD 🇵🇭

Carlos De Imus set a new national record in the men’s 20-kilometer walk, clocking 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 0.03 seconds at the Asian Race Walking Championships in Nomi, Japan.

With this performance, De Imus broke the previous record of 1:33:51, set by Michael Embuedo.

Setting the bar higher than ever, UE Athletics standout Sep Placido rewrote her own Girls’ 2000 meters record with a time of 10:03.19 in the UAAP Season 88 Athletics Tournament.

Placido surpassed her last season’s record of 10:15.39, with also holding the record in the 5000m walk.

The tournament officially kicked off its first day today, November 6, at the New Clark City Stadium.
