On 9 May 2026, Saturday, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MCAD) in partnership with the School of Environment Design Fashion Design & Merchandising Program—through CSA’s Benilde Summer Arts Festival—held “Quilt & Connect: A Family Crafting Experience” at the DLS-CSB Design+Arts Campus.
Through the workshop, participants learned how to reuse scrap fabrics and enhance soft or textile materials using basic quilting designs and techniques. The workshop encouraged collaboration between adults and children while fostering creativity, environmental awareness, and hands-on artistic expression.
