CLINICAL MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS MANUAL
All clinics with multiple physician staff employees require a clinical operations manual. This will be the point of reference for clinical management decisions. Clinics which function without such manuals (relying on a confused variety of undocumented consultants opinions) are no different from a very disorganized marketplace or "palengke". For now (while there is no FHCP specific Manual) the FHCP will use Rakel's Textbook of Family Medicine, the PAFP Textbook of Family Medicne, and a carefully selected list of CPGs. Decisions must use these as point of reference. Non-FHCP Consultants with pet CPGs or preferences who want to modify Clinic Service Guidelines are required to communicate these to FHCP consultants for review (otherwise, it will not be officially implemented).
