SoarersNEWS: Pens Against Injustice

The Conveyors Guild led “Ink and Honor: The Editorial Cartooning Contest, with the theme “Justice Beyond Judgment: Restoring Trust in a Nation Betrayed". This was a two-day event held on November 6 and 7 at the Science Laboratory, 4th Floor, JFAB Building.

The contest was open to students from Senior High School and College. Participants were invited to depict issues of violence and corruption among government officials. Presented in both English and Filipino categories, it encouraged young artists to illustrate themes of abuse of power, selective justice, and systemic misconduct—turning editorial art into a medium for civic awareness and ethical engagement.

‎The following winners for each category were:

English Category
2nd Runner Up - Trinity Rene R. Costillas (11–Mercy)
1st Runner Up- Stephanie Jean E. Ramirez(11–Grit)
Champion - King Johne D. Gargaceran (11–Mecy)

Filipino Category
2nd Runner Up - Kayla Mae Mejaro (12 - Excellence)
1st Runner Up - Mary Grace R. Lacsamana (11-Unity)
Champion - Pancho Ana Marie Kate T. (12-Excellence)

Participants' visually compelling critique, bold and insightful entry truly showed a mark of an EPIC Batang 641.

"Today is where your book begins, The rest is still unwritten."
- Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield

Senior High School might have come to an end but it definitely gave us a lot of lessons and memories to keep as we carry on to the new journey. There are people whom we owe a big part to our success and our growth as students. Especially, to the teachers who have shown patience and care for each and one of the students. This is not the end; rather, it marks a new chapter in our lives. There are no such thing as good bye, only "see you again". Until our next journey will be unwritten

Today is ✨𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘✨

As we celebrate the 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐘, let's promote kindness, understanding, and fairness for everyone.

Let's recognize today the people with autism, and their families who care and love them. We should celebrate, support, advocate for them, and make awareness about the autism community.

‎"Let your untold thoughts be your power," As we celebrate the 71st founding anniversary of Philippine College of Criminology, We conduct a freedom wall containing four questions that will use your critical thinking and your personal point of view.

‎Don't be afraid to be judge and receive criticism to people who's bias and always invalidate your idea because you're young. Your voice matter and your thoughts should be validated!

‎Here's the different question we created during the event:

‎Do you agree sa nangyaring impeachment ni Vice President Sara Duterte?

‎What are your thoughts for those senators na walang naiambag kung hindi dumi or dungis lang?

‎Naging patok at nagbigay ba ng inspiration ang mga sinabing salita ni Neneng B sa mga kabataan na nakasandal pa sa magulang?

‎Are you doing your best to satisfy yourself or to give satisfaction to others expectations?
