The High Court of the UE PSS is issuing a public apology for errors in the publication of a recent decision that caused undue stress to the parties involved and damaged the Organizationโs reputation.

Real governance is not always loud. Sometimes, it begins in conversations that make people realize they matter; that the leaders they choose affect their lives, and that they are part of something bigger than themselves. ๐โค๏ธ๐
What stood out most from the last series, ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ: ๐จ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐, was the reminder that change does not have to start grand. It can begin with simple community actions, small initiatives, and spaces where people feel invited to participate. When people understand the purpose, they begin to care. And when they care, transformation follows. ๐ฑ
If we want progressive leaders to win, we have to prove that progressive governance works, not just in theory but in everyday life. And if systems fall short, then the responsibility returns to us: to take initiative, to organize, and to build the communities we want to live in. ๐๏ธ

The forum brought the students closer to the realities of governance at a grassroot level, with the valuable insights of Hon. Cruz. From decision-making process, local implementations, and governance in everyday practice. ๐ซก

The UE-Political Science Society proudly attended the Association of Political Science Organization of Philippines General Assembly session last Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the Universidad de Manila.
The General Assembly serves as the foundational program of the association and serves as the primary venue for reporting, organizational planning, approval, election, and discussion smong member-organizations.
Several delegates from UE-PSS represented the organization during the event and actively engaged in dialogue and contributing to meaningful exchanges. The UE-Political Science Society is committed to collaborating in promoting excellence within the Political Science community. ๐โค๏ธ๐ค

We are a month into 2026, but the echoes of our first Kwentuhan sa Silangan episode of this year still ring true. Last January 12, LB 713 became a melting pot of diverse perspectives through the discourse of realization of fear from political implications of unfolding events for the new year. ๐๏ธ
From the complexities of the US-Venezuela conflict with Prof. Odrei Solis, to the staggering P6.793 trillion national budget discussed by 4th year Legal Management student Angelo Galang, and the daily grind of Manila traffic with 3rd year Political Science student Genry Sean Baguisa. Beyond the noise of condemnation, we collectively sought to find in the new year, hope in the sphere.
As we transition into the month of love, let us carry with us the vital realizations sparked by our discussion. As discussed, global conflicts are not simply just distant headlines but they carry local implications that ripple through our own economy and security. In a reality where many are trapped in 'survival mode,' weโve recognized that active empathy remains our most powerful solution to despair. The discourse ultimately reminds us that meaningful change only begins when we collectively refuse to accept the 'bare minimum' from our daily systems and demand the progress our community deserves.
