PUBLIC ADVISORY for September 21, 2018 (Friday): NO CLASSES in all levels, public and private, in the City of Manila. (Please refer to copy below of Executive Order No. 35, dated Sept. 20, 2018)

Classes in all levels, public and private, as well as work in the local government (with the exception of offices involved in emergency preparedness including MDRRMO, MDSW, MHD, DPS, and DEPW)in the City of Manila have been SUSPENDED from September 14 to 15, 2018 (Friday and Saturday), due to expected heavy rainfall and threats of flooding brought by Typhoon Ompong, which will also intensify the effects of the southwest monsoon (habagat), as detailed in advisories issued by our national weather bureau Pagasa. This public advisory is likewise being issued to provide Manilenyos with sufficient time to prepare for possible emergency situations and ensure their safety in the succeeding days. Please take all necessary precautions and monitor developments from reliable news sources.
