There are patients who know exactly where it hurts yet cannot say it out loud. 🗣️

A trembling hand pointing to the chest. Eyes searching for someone who understands. Silence filling the space where words are expected to be.

In partnership with the UST SHS Health Allied Society, ABaKaDa was created from the belief that healthcare should never make people feel unheard. Beyond clinical skills is something just as life-changing: the ability to communicate with compassion.

Through Filipino Sign Language (FSL) awareness and basic learning sessions, this initiative encourages future healthcare professionals to meet people halfway—to listen with their eyes, respond with their hands, and care beyond spoken language. 🤍

Join us on May 18, 2026 at the Pre-Function Hall, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm!

The Elementary Education Department proudly celebrates our students who have advanced to the Final Screening of the Gawad Husay – Seat of Wisdom Awards 2026. Their passion, perseverance, and hard work continue to pave the way toward excellence and bring pride to the home of the Center of Excellence in Teacher Education. 💛

Join us on 15 May 2026, 2:00 p.m., at the Frassati Auditorium as we honor these outstanding Thomasians and their inspiring journey toward Husay.

Tomorrow, we officially open the gates to the Wood. We’re inviting you to leave the “bothers” of the daily grind behind and step into 𝙐𝙑𝙐’𝙧𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙩: 𝘼 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚. 🧸🍂

So take a breath and ease up your mind, as we embark our journey to self-love, where we create a space to pause, reflect, and come back to ourselves amidst the challenges and pressures that we may encounter. ❤️‍🩹

With a Master’s from DLSU-Manila and a background as a first responder for the Resorts World and Sulucan crises, Ms. Andie brings deep expertise in Psychological First Aid to her role as a University Counselor at UST. She is a dedicated advocate for anxiety management and self-care, guiding us to explore our mental landscapes and meet our personal struggles with radical gentleness. ❤️‍🩹
