The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Manila Chapter is currently hosting its 3rd Technical Seminar for 2026, featuring an exciting deep dive into small satellite engineering:
“Code, Build, Launch: CanSat 101 for Electronics Engineers – CubeSat Fundamentals”

Dr. Mark Angelo C. Purio is now sharing expert insights on the fundamentals of small satellite systems, introducing participants to CanSat and CubeSat missions, satellite subsystems, telemetry, structures, testing, and the overall small satellite systems engineering lifecycle—drawing lessons from real-world programs such as BIRDS‑4.

Participants are actively engaged in this Applied 8‑CPD credit seminar, gaining practical knowledge on satellite prototyping and mission planning as electronics engineers expand their expertise into the growing space and aerospace sector.
