Last April 12, we visited the home base of Media East Productions for an inside look at the movie magic behind the scenes! 🎥✨

It was such a treat to see the workspace where visual storytelling happens — especially getting to see the world of color grading through the eyes of a pro 🎨👀

Huge shoutout to our director’s sister, Ms. Marilen Alinea- Magsaysay, for showing us what it takes to be a dedicated colorist and how much detail goes into every frame 🎞️❤️

We also got to tour the music studio 🎶🎧 which had us even more hyped for our next excursion 🔊✨

Reflecting on an inspiring journey at the recent USAP in Bicol, where we discovered how dialogue goes beyond words—becoming a bridge that connects hearts and minds 🤝💬

We are incredibly proud of our 3 Tahilan Volunteers from Camarines Sur and 3 dormers from Angat Buhay Dormitory–CBSUA Calabanga for representing their roots 🌱 By sharing their rich Bicolano traditions and embracing the art of connection, they showed that meaningful relationships begin with openness and sincerity 💙

From the quiet province to the busy streets of Manila 🏙️,

Last Saturday, Tahilan visited the Aeta farmers selling at the San Benito Store (located at the end of our street) to listen to their stories and share some gifts 🤝🎁

Through warm and lively conversations, we got to know the lives behind the hands that bring us fresh produce—cultivated with care from their native land 🌱

The farmers shared both the joys and challenges of living in the mountains ⛰️, and the journey it takes to bring their harvests to Manila.

We walked out of San Benito with bags full of kamote, a couple of bananas, and hearts full of new friendships 🛍️💛
In the end, it felt like we were the ones truly treated.

It was a genuinely fruitful Saturday afternoon 🌞✨

Throughout the month, Tahilan residents are invited to grow not only in knowledge and skills, but also in character and generosity — through shared activities, meaningful conversations, outreach initiatives, and moments of reflection. Each gathering reminds us that community life is built through small acts of presence, support, and encouragement for one another.
