If Day 1 was about attuning to the needs and listening to the stories of our inner child, Day 2 was about learning how to become the parents we long to be and can be for the child within us.

In this session, we:

✅ Shared about our personal learning, realizations, and new resolve after listening to our inner child

✅ Became vulnerable to each other and shared about our childhood wounds and received compassion and support from one another

✅ Talked about reparenting our inner child by paying attention to his/her needs and showing up for ourselves

✅ Changed our lifescript by making new and positive declarations to rewrite the old scripts that held us back

It has truly been a transformative experience for all of us. What a great way to end the three month-long Self-Mastery Course! I am proud to see all of them embracing their worth, identity, and purpose in God. May they all remain in the path of healing, growth, and transformation until we reach the point of wholeness again.

It was a night to remember for these wonderful men and women from Excelsior Worldwide Freight Logistics, Inc., during their two-day retreat at CCT Retreat & Training Center last Feb. 7-8, 2025.

In this session, we:

⚪️ Talked about the relationship between our childhood experiences and some of our adult challenges

⚪️ Shared about our happy childhood memories and walked a trip down memory lane

⚪️ Had a conversation with our inner child through a powerful visualization and journaling activity

⚪️ Released our emotional baggage and embraced healing from our childhood pain points

Grief turned into joy as we held space for each other and supported each other in this emotional dive.

I want to honor each of them for showing courage, openness, and authenticity, allowing them to experience freedom and release in this two-day retreat.

In this first installment of The Space Webinar, we talked about Dr. Martin Seligman's PERMA Model of Well-Being. Our session talked about the following:

✅ A self-assessment if we are flourishing, languishing, or withering.

✅ Primary causes of why people languish or wither

✅ The PERMA Model of Well-Being

𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑

I was in Pila, Laguna, earlier today for a whole day workshop on soul care for the key leaders and volunteers of Pila Church of Christ.

It was a moment to remember as we encountered God and felt His love, acceptance, forgiveness, and care during our time of sharing, worship, praying, and holding space for one another.

As someone who has constantly been facilitating workshops and retreats, I have learned that we may be able to fabricate an emotional experience, but we can never manufacture a genuine encounter with God. I am always grateful whenever God shows up to heal and minister to people in the spaces and communities He calls me to be in.

Thank you, Pila Church of Christ, for sharing with me the privilege to experience God with you today. May we all treasure this experience in our hearts to remind us to remain in Christ.
