Even though Ramadan has passed, its warmth still lingers.

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, we gathered for our 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐫—not just to break our fast, but also to share a moment and bond rooted in the purpose of seeking the pleasure of Allah. ✨

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙨, 𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 for making this gathering possible and meaningful. 💞

This gathering served as another living reflection of our 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝟏𝟒𝟒𝟕 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞: 𝐀 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐬 (with a theme: 𝘙𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘕𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴) —a moment to pause, to breathe, and to refuel not only our bodies, but our faith together. ❤️‍🩹

A highlight of the program was the short yet impactful lecture by 𝘜𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘥𝘩 𝘕𝘢𝘪𝘧 𝘑𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘯, 𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘥 “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨: 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘠𝘰𝘶”, reminding us of the importance of carrying the lessons of Ramadan beyond the month itself. 🌻

The sun rises on the horizon as we depart from Ramadan, that served as our 𝒐𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 for our tired hearts and souls.

While the journey through this sacred month may have left us sleepless, fatigue, and even burnt out due to sacrifices and acts of worship we have to do, 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐬 with a profound sense of peace and renewed faith. ❤️‍🩹🌱

We reached Ramadan as exhausted travelers, and now we leave it today 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧. ☀️

As we step back out into the life that seems like an endless harsh desert, we carry with us the discipline, the patience, and the light we cultivated during the blessed month. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞—we are ready to face life’s trials with faith that have been renewed. 🤍

May Allah accept every hunger, every prayer, and every tear we shed in His cause. May He grant us the steadfastness to continue what we have built during Ramadan and keep our hearts anchored to the peace we found in His worship. 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙣. 🤲

Time has flown by so quickly. We were busy preparing and distributing Iftar Meals then, but here we are now marking the end of Iftar Program. As this program reaches its end, 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞—𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭. 𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, we’ve reached the final week of our Free Iftar Program. Over the past weeks, PNU–ISWAG has been serving daily iftar meals to our fellow muslim students and staff, and we are so grateful to everyone who supported, helped, and joined us along the way. 💐

This Ramadhan has reminded us of the joy in sharing, helping others, and practicing kindness and generosity. 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘥, 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘩𝘢𝘯. 🤍

Alhamdulillah, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐈𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐫 Program has been filled with reflection, endurance, and gratitude. PNU–ISWAG continues to serve Iftar meals to fasting members of the university. Through this program, we hope to share not only food, but also kindness, understanding, and appreciation for one another. 💐

During these last ten nights of Ramadan, we are reminded of the immense blessings of 𝗧𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗷𝗷𝘂𝗱 (𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿). A time to seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

🌙 Hadith Reminder:
“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 (𝘛𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘫𝘫𝘶𝘥).” — Sahih Muslim 1163

🌙 Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also said:
“𝘞𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘳’𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.” During Ramadan, these rewards are multiplied manifold! 💝

May Allah grant us the strength to wake up for Tahajjud, forgive our sins, and grant us the highest level of paradise. Ameen. 🤲🏻🤍

Day by day, PNU–ISWAG continues to support our Muslim students and staff by ensuring that no one breaks their fast alone. May this week be filled with mercy, forgiveness, and renewed intentions.

As Ramadan progresses, it’s natural for the initial excitement to fade and for the physical demands of fasting to become more challenging. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦, 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱. ❤️‍🩹

Alhamdulillah for reaching the 15th day of Ramadan. 🤍 Halfway through a month of patience, reflection, and sharing Iftar with our fellow Muslim PNUans. ✨

Through this program, we continue to provide a space where students, faculty, and staff can break their fast with comfort inside the campus. Truly, small acts of kindness carry great rewards in this blessed month.

As we move through these blessed days, may Allah SWT accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and shower His mercy upon us all. Let us make the most of this sacred time, for His mercy is boundless for those who sincerely seek it.

𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, we have completed the first week of our Free Iftar Program at Philippine Normal University. Throughout the week, PNU–ISWAG was able to serve Iftar to fasting students and staff who continue their duties while fasting in the month of Ramadhan.

Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧𝙨, 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩.”

Alhamdulillah! The first day of our 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐈𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 has officially begun. PNU–ISWAG officers, members, and Muslim PNUan students and staff gathered at the Musallah (Prayer Room) to break their fast together in peace and gratitude.
