PNU, pinarangalan sa pangunguna sa Marso 2023 LEPT

Tinanggap ng Pangulo ng Pamantasan, Dr. Bert J. Tuga, ang karangalan mula sa Komisyon sa Regulasyon ng mga Propesyon (PRC) ang pagkilala sa Pamantasang Normal ng Pilipinas bilang ikalawa sa elementarya at pangatlo sa sekondarya sa mga nangungunang paaralan sa pagganap sa Licensure Examinations for Teachers (LEPT) para sa pagsusulit na ginanap noong Marso 2023.

Mataas ang bahagdan ng mga nakapasa sa Manila Campus: 96.74% sa elementarya at 96.21 % naman sa sekondarya. Lima sa mga kumuha ng pagsusulit sa Manila Campus ang kasama sa mga nanguna; tatlo sa elementarya (BMSEE) at dalawa naman sa sekondarya (medyor sa Biology at Matematika).

Sa mensahe ng Pangunahing Tagapagsalita na si Hon. Jose Y. Cueto, Jr., Komisyoner ng PRC, pinaalalahanan nya ang mga bagong g**ong propesyonal na isabuhay ang propesyonalismo, integridad, at kahusayan. Dagdag ni Commissioner Cueto sa kanyang hamon, “Your profession is a privilege, work hard to deserve it.” Patuloy pa n'ya, “Maintain your humility and set your goals on your career progression.”

Ginanap ang Palatuntunan para sa Panunumpa ng mga bagong propesyonal na g**o sa PICC noong ika-6 ng Agosto 2023. Kasama ni Pangulong Tuga sa Palatuntunan ng Panunumpa ang Dekana ng Kolehiyo ng Paglinang Pangg**o, Dr. Ruth A. Alido at ang Katuwang na Dekano ng Fakulti ng Agham, Teknolohiya, at Matematika, Dr. Brando C. Palomar.
