" Araw ng Pagkilala 2026": A Celebration of Dreams
Today, the halls of Mariano Ponce Elementary School echoed with joy, pride, and the soft hum of accomplishment, as our learners stepped forward to be recognized—not just for grades or awards, but for the courage to dream, the patience to learn, and the perseverance to grow.
Every achievement tells a story: of quiet mornings and late nights, of challenges met with determination, and of small victories that, together, become shining milestones.
This celebration also honored the teachers and staff, whose dedication, guidance, and unwavering support nurture our learners and make every success possible. A special note of gratitude to the School Head, Dr. Gary Z. Regala, MPMG, whose leadership continues to inspire and uplift our entire school community.
May this celebration remind us all that learning is not a destination but a journey—a journey where every step, every effort, and every heart that believes makes the world a little brighter.

MPES Learning Action Cell Session Successfully Conducted!
Today, Mariano Ponce Elementary School, in collaboration with the National University Institute of General Education, successfully conducted the whole-day LAC session “Draft to Publication: Empowering Teachers as Researchers.”
The activity became a meaningful and enriching learning experience for educators as it strengthened their knowledge and skills in research writing, innovation, and academic development. More importantly, it inspired teachers to become more confident, capable, and empowered researchers in the pursuit of quality education.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our very supportive School Head, Dr. Gary Z. Regala, MPMG, whose leadership, encouragement, and commitment to professional growth greatly contributed to the success of this activity. His unwavering support continues to inspire the Mariano Ponce Elementary School community to strive for excellence in both teaching and research.
We also express our sincerest appreciation to the National University Institute of General Education for its invaluable partnership, guidance, and support in making this LAC session possible. Their collaboration served as a strong pillar in promoting research culture, innovation, and continuous learning among educators.
In the morning session, participants learned from John Trixstan S. Ignacio, who delivered the lecture “Creating Better Research with AI: Smarter Tools for Stronger Studies.” In the afternoon session, Marc Edly R. Magat shared valuable insights through his lecture titled “Building Solid Studies: The Role of Validity and Reliability in Research Creation.” Both sessions were followed by panel discussions that further deepened the participants’ understanding of the topics presented.
Indeed, this successful undertaking reflected the power of collaboration, shared expertise, and strong educational leadership. Thank you to all the speakers, organizers, facilitators, and participants who contributed to making this event meaningful and successful.
