1st SRB CUP Men and Women Volleyball Tournament

RULES AND GUIDELINES

General rules:
A. This volleyball competition shall be held in accordance with the rules of International
Volleyball Federation (FIVB) 2013-2016 Edition and as modified by and/or supplemented by the guidelines stated hereunder,
B. In case of any dispute on the text, the English version of the latest FIVB Rules shall prevail.
C. Any unforeseen event not covered by the rules shall be dealt with as follows:
- Cases of general nature shall be resolved in accordance with the guidelines of SRB Committee.

SPECIFIC RULES:

A. PARTICIPANTS
- 1st SRB CUP Men and Women Volleyball Tournament shall be participated by all players from 19 barangays of President Quirino.
- Players MUST be a resident of PRESIDENT QUIRINO.

B. ELIGIBILTY
One player must only have one team.

C. COMPOSITION OF A TEAM

- A team shall be composed of the following:

1. SRB Volleyball League 2025 is Open for all Men and Women volleyball players of President Quirino Sultan Kudarat.

2. Players will have the choice to represent their own barangay or create their own teams.

4. Maximum of 7 - 15 players per team shall be submitted on the day of the submission of the list of players.

5. No age limit.

6. There will be 10 slots for Men's Category and 6 slots for Women's Category.

D. MODE/FORMAT and DATE OF THE TOURNAMENT:

1. 1st SRB CUP Men and Women Volleyball Tournament will be happening on June 10 and 11, 2025, 7 AM in the morning at Poblacion Gym.
2. The Tournament shall adopt the Single Round Robin format.
3. Deadline of Submission of entry is on June 6, 2025.

E. GAME SCHEDULE
1. The game schedule will be determined after the submission of the teams.
2. For Elimination Round: June 10,2025
- It will be alternate schedule, first game is for Men's Category, and second game is for Women's Category, and so on and so fort.
- Top 4 teams in both category will advance to Semis.
- No advantage for no defeat

3. For Semis: June 10,2025
- Ranking Format
- 1 vs 4 , 2 vs 3
- 1 - 40 points
- Change court by 20 points

4. Championship Game
- It will be best of 2 out of 3 games.

HOW TO WIN A SET/MATCH:

All games will be 1 to 30 points, change court by 15 points.
A team which scores 30 points with a minimum lead of two (2) points wins. In case of a 30-30 tie, play is continued until a two-point lead is achieved.

PARTICIPANT'S CONDUCT:
Participants must know the "official volleyball rules" and abide them.
- Participants must accept Referee's decision with sportsmanlike conduct, without disputing them;
- Participants are allowed to do BARDAGULAN in the court, attitudan or
"dogshow" but it should be in a friendly way, not to the point where physical altercation will happen.
- Participant who will start physical altercation or assault will be disqualified and the team will be default from the game.
- Participants must behave respectfully and courteously in the spirit of fair play not only towards the referee but also towards the officials, the opponent, teammates, and spectators.

Isang pag-saludo at pasasalamat sa bawat kapatid na patuloy na bumubuhay sa ating prinsipyo't aral. hindi ninyo binigo at pagsusumikap ng ating limang ama!
