“Ant invasion: An in-depth analysis of the ongoing battle with exotic ants"

With increased globalization, geographical barriers are not a dispersal limitation anymore. Species are being introduced into new ecosystems and regions, leading to the disruption of native communities. Biological invasions as one of the leading causes of biodiversity loss needs to be addressed through conservation efforts and policies. In this talk, we will discuss past and current research on exotic ants from China to global dispersal by exploring species characteristics, distribution, and impacts.

As we welcome the new year, let’s look back on stories of achievement, resilience, and hope that defined our journey in Dimensions. Together, let’s celebrate the moments that make us uniquely SOSE and look forward to a future filled with new opportunities and discoveries.
