𝘽𝙊𝘼𝙍𝘿 𝙀𝙓𝘼𝙈 𝙎𝙐𝘾𝘾𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙔 ✨

One thing I am truly sure of is that everything that happens in our journey in life is something God allows. Not just for us to go through, but for us to learn and to appreciate the beauty of life.

During the review season, I constantly doubted myself. I felt like I wasn’t absorbing everything (the lessons, book reviews, and notes I studied). And honestly, that was true. I still forget a lot of things, no matter how much I tried to memorize and rationalize every question in the BRs and lectures. However, I realized that you can pass the board even if you don’t remember everything.

During this time, I have this reflection that our faith in God is our greatest anchor and we should not hesitate to ask him for guidance, for in God nothing is impossible. In my case, prayer was a great factor during the exams, the results of my comprehensive exams, mock boards, and the actual board exam was an answered prayer. In God’s grace, majority of what I studied ay lumabas sa mga exams. The saying “Do your best and God will do the rest” is really true.

Everyone has their own pace, but sometimes, you really need to step out of your comfort zone and push yourself beyond your limits to reach your goals and dreams. There were days when I felt extremely lazy to read and study. And that’s normal. Still, even on those days, I opened the Gold Rank app and answered 50–100 questions just to wash away the guilt 🤣. Most of the time, I pushed myself to my limits, because what truly matters is consistency.

Kahit nasa jeep ako papunta sa review center, I would open the Gold Rank app and answer BRs. Wala na akong pake kung nakikita ng katabi ko na madami akong mali 🤣😭 What matters for me was my progress.

I am thankful that I enrolled at Gold Rank Review Center. Their schedule was very organized, and the way they discussed difficult topics made it easy to understand. They made lectures interactive and fun, and they really made sure that everyone understood the lessons. All the lecturers were very approachable and always shared helpful study tips. They made it easy for all of us (especially the GR songs 🥳🤩).

Even when I was already exhausted from reviewing, what stuck in my mind was what Ma’am Jone said: “Konting sakripisyo para sa lisensya.” Every time I felt tired, I would say it out loud to remind myself of my goal. The journey of earning the FOUR letters after your name was never easy. But through my perseverance, determination, and prayers and with God’s guidance through His people (my family, girlfriend, friends, LDCU CRS Department, and Gold rank lecturers and staff), everything was made possible.
