𝗔 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁

Today, the Universidad de Manila College of Law successfully held an online lecture on the Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Law and the Safe Spaces Act, delivered by 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀.

Students, faculty members, and other participants attended the session, all of whom gained meaningful insights into the legal frameworks that protect women and promote safe, respectful spaces for all. The lecture concluded with an engaging and thoughtful Q&A session, where participants were able to deepen their understanding and clarify important issues.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Atty. Reyes for sharing his expertise, and to everyone who joined and contributed to the success of today’s event. Your active participation strengthens our collective commitment to awareness, empowerment, and the advancement of a safer community for all.

This event aims to deepen awareness, strengthen advocacy, and empower our community to stand against all forms of violence and harassment. ✊

The UDM Law Student Government, together with Dean Pearlito B. Campanilla and the Atty. Bernardo Masangkay, proudly participated in commencement of the City of Manila’s 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, carrying this year’s subtheme: “VAW-Free City Makes Manila Great Again.”

This participation reflects the College’s steadfast commitment to advocacy, women’s rights, and community empowerment, standing in unity with the City of Manila in building a future where every woman is safe, valued, and protected.

Together, we push forward for justice. Together, we strive for a VAW-free Manila.

In light of the approaching Typhoon Uwan, all face-to-face and online classes at the UDM College of Law are suspended on November 10 and 11 to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and faculty.

The UDM Law Student Government (LSG) met with the UDM Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers to discuss upcoming joint activities and initiatives for the welfare and holistic development of all UDM students.

Our gratitude also goes to Dean Pearlito B. Campanilla for his valuable insights and guidance, which continue to inspire collaboration and unity across the university. Together, we move forward in service of the student body. ⚖️💛

The Universidad de Manila College of Law will suspend classes from 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟭 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, in observance of Undas. Regular classes will resume on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 (Monday).

As we take this time away from our academic duties, may we pause to honor and remember our departed loved ones. Let this be a moment of reflection, togetherness, and gratitude for the lives that have touched ours and the memories that continue to inspire us.

A fresh start for the College of Law! The office underwent a full-day cleaning and reorganization to create a more efficient, welcoming, and professional space for both students and faculty.

This initiative was made possible through the combined efforts of our Dean and the Law Student Government Officers, who worked hand in hand to ensure that every corner of the office reflects the discipline, order, and excellence that the College of Law stands for.

Here’s to a cleaner workspace, better service, and a renewed sense of pride in our College of Law community!
