Last March 25–26, 2026, Benildean Educators from SHRIM and our New Faculty gathered at Balay Homestay, Indang, Cavite for : An Inclusion Experience.

Across two days, participants explored inclusive teaching, engaged in workshops on specific learning needs and Universal Design for Learning, and shared insights and questions on how to better support every learner.

With the guidance and expertise of Dr. May Cabutihan and Atty. Jude Latorre Jr., together with the Center for Inclusive Education and the Center for Faculty Advancement-Instruction Unit, the sessions opened space for both learning and unlearning, reminding us that inclusion is an ongoing process.

At the end of the day, creating spaces where all students feel seen and supported starts with us as educators.
