Day 3: Caregiving Learning Session – Fire Safety & Basic Life Support Training! 🚑🔥

As part of the 3rd Convergence of Skills 2024 with the theme "Industry-Education Convergence: Expert-Led and Inclusive Learning for All," today’s session empowered our learners with life-saving skills through the Introduction to Basic Life Support & Fire Drill, Prevention, and Safety Seminar.

Under the guidance of FSUPT Ronaldo E. Sanchez, City Fire Marshal, along with FSINSP Bryan C. Lee, Chief, Fire Prevention Section, and SFO4 Edilberto R. Cruz, Acting Chief, Operation Section, learners engaged in essential training sessions led by BFP-Navotas EMS duty personnel, supervised by SFO1 Jonalf Carlo E. Sadol, Acting Chief, EMS.

Participants gained hands-on experience in:
✅ Proper use of fire extinguishers 🔥
✅ Orientation on fire equipment and apparatus 🚒
✅ Fire drill lecture & emergency preparedness 🚨
✅ Basic Life Support techniques 💪

This crucial learning session at San Rafael Technological and Vocational High School, Navotas City, aimed to enhance fire safety awareness, ensure preparedness in emergencies, and equip learners with essential caregiving and emergency response skills.

As part of the 3rd Convergence of Skills 2025 with the theme "Industry-Education Convergence: Expert-Led and Inclusive Learning for All," our Grade 8 and 9 Beauty Care learners and teacher engaged in an exciting hands-on workshop led by Ms. Erica Babes Garcia, a proud alumni and Beauty Care & Wellness Services Practitioner.

With the theme "Mastering the Art of Elegance: A Hands-On Journey in Fancy Nail Design," participants honed their skills in nail extensions and creative nail artistry, learning expert techniques to enhance precision, style, and professionalism in their craft.

A heartfelt thank you Ms. Garcia for sharing your expertise and inspiring the next generation of beauty care professionals! 🌟

This morning’s Food Processing Learning Session was a deep dive into "Exploring the World of Food Processing: Innovation, Safety, and Industry Insights." 🏭🍽️

We were honored to have Ma’am Richieville C. Dianasas, Food Safety Manager of SLORD Development Corporation, as our resource speaker. She shared valuable expertise on industry best practices, food safety innovations, and essential processing techniques that prepare our learners for real-world applications in the food industry.

Our participants, including aspiring food processors and TLE teachers, gained hands-on knowledge that enhances their skills and understanding of food safety and industry standards.

Kicking Off the 3rd Convergence of Skills 2025! 🎉

With the theme "Industry-Education Convergence: Expert-Led and Inclusive Learning for All," we officially begin a week-long journey of expert-led learning sessions from March 17 to 21, 2025!

Yesterdays (March 17) Entrepreneurship Learning Session featured Professor Angelina D. Capili of the University of Santo Tomas, who shared insights on "Empowering Future Entrepreneurs: Innovate, Build, Succeed." 💡💼 Our Grade 9 and 10 learners, ALS SHS students, and TVE Entrepreneurship teachers gained valuable knowledge on turning ideas into opportunities, building strong business foundations, and achieving entrepreneurial success.

And this is just the beginning! More specialized learning sessions are lined up throughout the week, covering diverse technical-vocational skills to bridge industry and education for a brighter, skill-driven future. Stay tuned! 🔥

Lumaban for winning First Place in the Bread and Pastry category in this year's Regional Festival of Talents held on SDO Valenzuela on February 22, 2025. They are now advancing at the National Festival of Talents.
