Embodying strength and courage, she proved that being a first-timer doesn’t mean you can’t rise higher. Zakkiya Faye Gazo delivered a remarkable performance, lighting the stage on fire.

She brought home a gold medal in the mixed pair category with her partner, Ares Nathan D. Fabia, a former SPA Dance student, and another gold medal in the trio category with John Paul Sarilan and Ares Nathan D. Fabia. She also earned a silver medal in her solo performance.

She’s also a R1AA qualifer.
