𝐔𝐕 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄: Taking a break from school to help support his family's needs meant that Miguel AJ Amores had to take a different path toward earning his degree.

Despite the interruptions, the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduate completed his studies at the University of the Visayas as part of the Class of 2026.

Amores shared that returning to school as an irregular student came with its own challenges, from adjusting to new class schedules and meeting different classmates each semester to seeing his original batch graduate ahead of him.

There were moments when he questioned whether he would ever finish college, but he remained committed to the goal he had set for himself.

Looking back, Amores dedicated the milestone to his late mother, whose belief in the lasting value of education became his motivation to keep going.

He hopes that his story reminds students that everyone's journey is different and that perseverance, not speed, is what leads to the finish line.
