TYPHOON AGATON UPDATE NO. 1,

Suspension of classes in all levels for both public and private educational institutions starting Monday, April 11, 2022 until further notice.

As a precautionary measure and in anticipation of any developments that may arise out of the weather disturbance brought about by Typhoon Agaton , a Suspension of Classes within the jurisdiction of Mandaue City shall be implemented to ensure the safety of all students in the event of flooding, landslides, and other weather disturbances;

All forms of classes in all levels whether limited face-to-face or online classes both in private and public schools, shall be suspended in all levels, to allow all teachers and students to prioritize their safety and to prevent the aforesaid from going-out of their homes during the duration of the weather disturbance.

All agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services to all mandauehanons.

The corresponding executive order to this effect shall be posted.
