Effects shouldn't bury the story. They should finish it. ✨

Motion Graphics & VFX (Aug 29): purposeful titles, keyframes, compositing, and the Fusion page — without the fear. Real finishing skills, not gimmicks.

You leave with a motion-designed, VFX-polished final cut.

📍 Fullhaus Premium Lounge, QC · 10 seats only
💰 Early bird ₱8,000 until July 31

Flat footage doesn't need "fixing." It needs a grade with intention. 🎨

Colour Grading Masterclass (Aug 22): colour wheels, curves, scopes, and node-based workflows — from log footage to a confident cinematic look you can rebuild on any project.

You leave with a fully graded scene and looks you can reuse.

Most edits don't fail because of software. They fail because of decisions. 🎬

Editing Essentials (Aug 15) is a full Saturday on the decisions that make a cut work: story structure, pacing, rhythm, and a clean professional workflow in DaVinci Resolve 21.

You don't leave with notes. You leave with a piece you edited yourself.

📍 Fullhaus Premium Lounge, QC · 10 seats only
💰 Early bird ₱8,000 until July 31

Reserve here: https://www.skyrocketacademy.ph/august_classes — or comment RESOLVE and we'll walk you through it.

Every editor was a beginner once. But some mistakes stick around way longer than they should. 😅

Swipe through — 5 things almost every DaVinci Resolve beginner gets wrong:

1️⃣ Assembling everything on the Edit page (the Cut page exists, and it's twice as fast for this)
2️⃣ Ignoring project settings until export day
3️⃣ Cutting to the beat instead of the story
4️⃣ Applying a "cinematic look" before balancing and matching shots
5️⃣ Mousing through everything instead of learning shortcuts

Here's the thing: guilty of 3 or more? You're completely normal. Nobody teaches this stuff in order — most editors learn Resolve backwards, from random tutorials, one crisis at a time.

All five are fixable in a single day when someone shows you the right sequence.

That's exactly what Editing Essentials is — one hands-on Saturday, August 15, and you leave with a finished cut and a workflow that actually makes sense.

Comment RESOLVE if you want in. 🎬

Which one are you guilty of? Be honest 👇

What separates professional editing teams from everyone else isn't the software. It's what happens before they open the timeline.

Three decisions pros make first:

1️⃣ What's the story? Not the topic — the story. What changes between the first frame and the last?
2️⃣ Who's watching, and where? A cut that works on a cinema screen dies on a phone feed. Pros edit for the screen it will actually live on.
3️⃣ What's the ending? Professionals cut toward a destination. Beginners cut forward and hope one appears.

Get these three right and even rough cuts feel intentional. Skip them and no amount of transitions will save the edit.

We spend a full Saturday on decisions like this — comment RESOLVE if you want in on Aug 15.

Last night's free webinar wrapped up and I'm genuinely happy with how it went. 🎬

51 registered. 41 showed up live. And the feedback at the end made it worth every bit of preparation.

One attendee said it best:

"I learned things you can't find on YouTube."

That's exactly the standard I hold myself to. Not just tips — real workflows from 25+ years in the post-production industry.

The best part? Even attendees who were already using DaVinci Resolve said they picked up things they didn't know before.

If you missed last night, early bird enrollment for The Definitive Guide to DaVinci Resolve 21 is still open until June 15.

90+ lessons. Color grading. Fusion motion graphics. Audio. Professional export. Everything — structured the way a real editor learns.

Early bird price: ₱7,500 (goes up to ₱10,000 at launch on June 15)
