We're looking for a part-time Teacher to join our little school family. 🌿
KumaCare Waldessori is hiring a part-time classroom teacher for our Junior Casa (4-year-olds).
What we're looking for:
Someone warm, patient, and genuinely curious about how young children learn. Experience with preschool or early primary is a plus.
We're a small school in Plainview, Mandaluyong with a big heart. If this sounds like you or someone you know, send us a message. 💌

"How do I get there?"
We hear this a lot, so let's make it easy for you.
KumaCare Waldessori is tucked inside a quiet residential pocket in Plainview, Mandaluyong. No busy commercial streets. No heavy traffic at drop-off. Just a calm, unhurried start to your child's morning.
That's not an accident. We chose this setting because young children thrive in calm. And once you know the route, it takes less than 5 minutes from Maysilo Circle.
Here's exactly how to get here (via San Joaquin Street):
1. From Maysilo Circle, exit to Boni Ave toward Kalentong.
2. You'll pass Santo Rosario St on your left. Skip it. Keep going.
3. Turn LEFT at San Joaquin St. (Look for South Star Drugstore on your left.)
4. Drive straight until you see Plainview Elementary School.
5. Turn LEFT onto San Ignacio.
6. Quick RIGHT onto San Miguel, then LEFT onto Santo Rosario.
7. Turn RIGHT into the alley or eskinita (narrow lane) near a street basketball half court. Drive slow.
8. About 5-10 meters in, look RIGHT. Tall yellow building, wide grey steel gate. You're here.
Look for the wide white French windows and our KumaCare signage at the top. Parking is available inside.

🥣 The Weekend Dilemma: Screens vs. Screen-Free Wonder
Every parent knows how it goes. Saturday arrives, and you want your child to step away from devices, build real-world skills, and experience deep joy but you also desperately need a few uninterrupted hours to recharge, run errands, or enjoy a hot coffee in peace.
What if you didn't have to choose?
Introducing the Saturday Playlab (10:00 AM – 1:30 PM) where our absolute favorite highlight is our hands-on, kid-led culinary kitchen! 👩🍳✨
Every single Saturday, our little studio transforms into a bustling kitchen. Your child won't just watch; they will measure, mix, chop (using specialized child-safe tools), and bake delicious, wholesome dishes from scratch. From seasonal bakes to festival-themed treats, the kitchen is where confidence, science, and math come alive through taste and touch.
Give your child a weekend filled with flavor and independence, and give yourself 3.5 hours of guilt-free, restorative time.
🗓️ Spaces are strictly limited to keep our kitchen table intimate and safe.
💬 Want to see what's on the menu for next month? Comment "PLAYLAB" below, and we’ll send the full program details straight to your inbox!

🌏✨ Two countries, one incredible adventure!
Revisiting what our brave little travelers explored last week gave us such colorful memories to treasure! The vibrant cultures of Thailand 🇹🇭 and the Philippines 🇵🇭 as part of our Around the World Summer Camp journey.
From learning greetings and discovering national symbols to exploring traditions, music, food, and cultural activities, the children experienced the beauty of Southeast Asia through hands-on learning and imaginative play.
They learned that while countries may have different languages, customs, and landmarks, we are all connected through kindness, curiosity, friendship, and community. ❤️
Every passport stamp tells a story, and every destination helps our young explorers become more aware, confident, and connected citizens of the world.
Sawasdee, Thailand! 🇹🇭
Mabuhay, Philippines! 🇵🇭

Happy Independence Day! 🌟
Today, we celebrate the beautiful spirit of community, freedom, and growth. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a shared heart to build a nation. Wishing all our KumaCare families a meaningful and peaceful day of celebration! 🇵🇭✨

For our Day 7 Around the World program, 🇰🇷 Annyeonghaseyo, South Korea! ✨
Our little travelers continued their Around the World adventure as they explored the vibrant culture of South Korea through hands-on activities, language, and creative discovery.
The children located South Korea on the map, identified the Korean flag, and practiced simple Korean greetings such as “Annyeonghaseyo” (Hello) and “Kamsahamnida” (Thank You).
Through stories, crafts, music, and cultural exploration, our young learners discovered how children around the world live, learn, and celebrate their traditions.
Every destination helps build curiosity, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for our diverse world. 🌏✈️
감사합니다 (Kamsahamnida), South Korea! 🇰🇷💙

🇯🇵 Konnichiwa, Japan! 🌸✨
On our 6th Day Around the World program, our little travelers began a brand-new adventure as they explored the beautiful culture of Japan through hands-on learning and imaginative play.
The children located Japan on the map, learned about the Japanese flag, practiced basic Japanese greetings like “Konnichiwa” and “Arigatou,” and created their very own sakura tree crafts inspired by Japan’s famous cherry blossoms.
To complete the experience, our young explorers also prepared tamago sandwiches together, practicing practical life skills, independence, and teamwork in the most delicious way. 🍱✨
Every destination continues to spark curiosity, creativity, and joyful cultural discovery for our little travelers. 🌏✈️
