The contest aimed to raise awareness on the Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) through creative and informative visual presentations made by young participants.

Together, we continue to educate, protect, and take action for a safer online space for every child.

The infographics titled “What is OSEC?” was declared the winner of the CROSEC Infographics Contest during the Diocesan Youth Leadership Camp held on October 17–18 at Natividad, Guagua, Pampanga.

This winning entry clearly explains what Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) is — a serious form of child abuse and exploitation using the internet. It also highlights alarming statistics on online violence, the laws protecting children, and the B.A.T.A. reminder: Bantay (Be vigilant), Aral (Learn), Tulong (Seek help), and Aksiyon (Take action).

Let’s continue spreading awareness and stand together to educate, protect, and take action against OSEC.

LOOK | Last September 20, an orientation was held at the Cathedral of the Holy Child in Mandaluyong City in preparation for the upcoming CROSEC PSA Film Festival this October 2025.

The orientation aims to empower participants in spreading awareness and advocacy against Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) through the power of storytelling and film. Together, we take a stand to protect children and amplify voices for change.

CROSEC PSA FILM FESTIVAL 2025

Ang Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) ay isa sa pinakamabigat na banta sa kaligtasan at kinabukasan ng mga bata sa Pilipinas at sa buong mundo. Sa panahon ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng digital technology, dumarami rin ang panganib ng pagsasamantala—kaya’t kailangang palakasin ang edukasyon, kamalayan, at pagkilos laban dito.

Bilang tugon, inilulunsad ng Church Response Against Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (CROSEC) ng Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) ang CROSEC PSA Film Festival — isang natatanging festival ng mga Public Service Announcements (PSAs) na layuning:
🎥 palakasin ang adbokasiya laban sa OSEC,
💡 gisingin ang kamalayan at empatiya,
🤝 hikayatin ang pagkilos ng komunidad,
🕊️ at gamitin ang sining bilang sandata para sa katarungan.

Ito ay hindi lamang isang patimpalak, kundi isang panawagan ng simbahan at sambayanan na magsama-sama upang ipagtanggol ang dignidad at karapatan ng bawat bata.

Ang pagbabahagi ng larawan ng mga batang nasa murang edad sa publiko, lalo na kung ito ay may kahubaran o sensitibong nilalaman, ay maituturing na Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC).

Hindi ito simpleng pagpo-post lamang, kundi isang uri ng pang-aabuso na maaaring magdulot ng matinding epekto sa dignidad, seguridad, at kinabukasan ng bata. Mahalaga ang responsableng paggamit ng internet at mahigpit na pagprotekta sa karapatan ng bawat bata laban sa anumang uri ng eksploytasyon.

Pagtutok sa layunin, paglalatag ng mas matibay na hakbang—isinagawa ang Midyear Assessment sa pangunguna ng Diocesan Program Committee bilang gabay sa mas epektibong paglilingkod at misyon. Hinihikayat ang lahat na isabuhay ang mga napagkasunduan at sabayan ito ng masusing pagplano para sa mga susunod na gawain.

Hamon sa atin ang gawing konkretong pagkilos ang ating mga plano, upang maghatid ng pag-asa, pagbabago, at mas masidhing pagtupad sa ating tungkulin sa komunidad.

Pastoral Care and Counseling Manual Validation

Ang isinagawang Validation ng Pastoral Care and Counseling Manual ay isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa pagpapatibay ng ating misyon bilang mga tagapaglingkod ng Panginoon. Sa pagtitipong ito, sama-samang sinuri at pinagtibay ang nilalaman ng manwal na magsisilbing gabay sa pagbibigay ng makatao, makadiyos, at may malasakit na pastoral na pangangalaga. Ito ay hindi lamang isang dokumento, kundi isang konkretong patunay ng ating paninindigan sa paglilingkod, pagkalinga, at pagbibigay tinig pag-asa sa bawat taong nangangailangan ng gabay—espiritwal man o emosyonal.

Sa tulong ng manual na ito, nawa'y mas mapalalim pa natin ang ating pagmimisyon bilang katuwang sa pagpapalaganap ng pag-ibig ni Kristo sa bawat puso.
