A meaningful morning spent bridging learning gaps. 💖
Yesterday at 9:00 AM, the 21st Century Teachers PH team gathered at Sgt. Mariano Cemetery in Pasay for our Tara, Kuwentuhan Tayo (TKT) session. Our mission remains constant: to bring the joy of reading and holistic care to every child.
The session opened with an interactive storytelling time by Teacher Froilan, followed by fun-filled educational games led by Teacher Joan.
To cap off the activity, over 50 children were served a warm meal. We extend our deepest gratitude to our volunteer team—Teachers Nhanie, Riza, Ly Net, and Mye—for their tireless service.
A special acknowledgment goes to InJung Cho, our international intern from The George Washington University, who actively participated in the feeding program and bonded with the children. Thank you for your heart for service!
Together, we build a community of readers and learners.

FROM TRIALS TO TRIUMPH: A WIN FOR CIVIC WORK 🏆
We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own Founder, Teacher Nhanie (Dr. Nanelyn T. Bontoyan), has been recognized as a WINNER of the International Luminary Award 2025 in the Civic Work category!
Teacher Nhanie emphasizes that this achievement is not just for her, but for every single volunteer who has unselfishly offered their time, resources, and effort to make things happen. She acknowledges that this milestone would not be possible without the unwavering dedication and support of the incredible team behind her. Their shared belief in her advocacies—especially concerning the well-being and education of children—remains the driving force behind this success.
True to her mission, she reminds us: "Education is for all and it must continue no matter what. One step at a time, one volunteer at a time, one child at a time, we can make this world a better place."
Congratulations, Teacher Nhanie! Thank you for leading with a heart full of hope.
Tara, kuwentuhan tayo—mga kuwentong punong-puno ng pag-asa para sa kinabukasan ng mga bata!

Thank you, DCVES, for inviting me to be your Reading Ambassador! ❤️
It feels so good to be back in the very first school where I started my teaching journey. ❤️
Once a teacher, always a teacher. 📚

Last Saturday, we officially wrapped up the final session of Project CLAP for the Youth Volunteers of MITSA Tutoring, in partnership with the Zonta Club of Quezon City and JCI Perlas Pasay.
The session was a success, with six youth volunteers confidently conducting their demo teaching—an impressive application of all the lessons they gained from Sessions 1 to 3.
21st Century Teachers—Teacher Mye, Tess, Riza, Ade, Joann, and Tess—served as panelists and critics, using the observation tools personally developed by Teacher Nhanie for Project CLAP.
We are truly grateful for the partnership and support of the Zonta Club of Quezon City, led by President Owen Tiu, and JCI Perlas Pasay, Pres. Daisy Charlen Limbaroc represented by President-Elect Krystene Bello. Their assistance in logistics—from the venue to food and other needs—greatly contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative.
As we move forward, Project CLAP will continue to grow—empowering more knowledge givers like parents, youth volunteers to become effective and compassionate tutors, one community at a time.
