Congratulations to our newest Wave 1 freedivers, Freek and Pauline! ✅
Proud of the progress these guys made in such a short time, and the pure excitement and joy they have for freediving. 🥳
Are you ready to start your freediving journey? 🌊 DM us to enquire about the Wave 1 course 📩

One of our most common questions… “I want to start freediving, should I do an Intro or Wave 1?” 🤷🏻♀️
Well, this breaks it down for you.
Think of an Intro as a snack and Wave 1 as the whole meal 😉
A lot of people assume Wave 1 is an intense course for serious divers only. We’re here to bust that myth.
Wave 1 is the complete beginner’s course, where we take the time to teach you the ins and outs of freediving. The only prerequisite is that you can swim 200m comfortably.
On the other hand, an Intro is great if you’re short on time and just want to give freediving a try.
So, are you ready to take the plunge and become a freediver this new year? DM us to book 💙

MINI POOL COMP 💦🏆
Yesterday some members of Camiguin Freediving (and a couple new faces) got together for a mock pool comp to support ahead of his AIDA comp next week!
We simulated a real competition so Anton can be best prepared for his first time competing - plus he smashed a new PB while he was at it. 🙌🏼
Thanks to everyone for participating and congrats on some massive dives!
Men’s 1st place - Adrian with 5:39 STA (new pb), 100m DYNB
Women’s 1st place - with 3:03 STA, 84m DYNB
Good luck Anton at your comp! We’ll be cheering you on from here! 🥳

We aren’t just experts on freediving… we also happen to know a thing or two about the best spots to eat on the island! Because when we’re not diving… we’re probably eating 🤷🏻♀️
And with Lanzones Festival coming up, we thought now might be a good time to answer everyone’s favourite question!
We’ll tag some of our friends below 👇🏼

Everyone meet our newest instructor!
Ron came to us as a Wave 3 freediver from Davao, and after a successful dj career in Doha, decided to level up his freediving skills and become an Instructor.
During his Instructor Development Program with us in Camiguin, Ron fell in love with the island (how could you not? 😏) and has decided to stay long term as a freelance instructor! He’ll be here teaching intros up to Wave 2.
We love a Camiguin love story 🥰

A love letter from our recent Wave 3 student, 💙 A new PB and (almost) a new certification!
Paul has been a strong Wave 2 diver for a couple years now, and felt it was time to level up.
Working full-time in CDO, it was tricky finding the time to fit in his Wave 3 course - it’s an intense schedule that takes more than a weekend!
But at Camiguin Freediving, we pride ourselves on offering flexible and customizable training & course options. We will always find a way to make your course work for you and your unique situation.
So if that means an intensive long weekend Wave 3 boot camp, then putting it on pause to go back to work until you can come back to finish the requirements… we got you 🤜🏼
Are you ready to level up your freediving journey? DM us & let’s make it happen!

Congratulations to .apnea for completing his W2i course!
Adam spent almost 2 months in Camiguin, training hard, living the island life and becoming a skilled freediving instructor. 🏝️🤿
We have no doubt he’ll do great things as an instructor in Europe and beyond!
If you’re ready to turn freediving into a career, send us a message! You never know where it’ll take you.

From poolside practice to the open ocean 🌊🐠
Together with Malambo (formerly Kurma) and .ph, we guided local kids through their first snorkelling skills, read Ocean Adventures with Cory by — a story about the importance of corals and how kids can protect their reefs — and ended with pledges to safeguard Camiguin’s blue world. 💙
We also rolled up our sleeves for a beach cleanup, collecting trash from our local shores. This Guardians for the Blue workshop was held during our Instructor Week — and it’s just the beginning. 🌍💙
Thank you to everyone who joined us in building the next generation of ocean guardians.
