Representing Team Camiguin on the international stage, Taypa brought home a triumvirate of prestigious global awards, showcasing her versatility across multiple disciplines.

She clinched the championship title and a Gold Medal in News Anchoring under the International English Masterclass Olympiad (IEMO).

Representing Mambajao Central School, Ryan Tabuada teamed up with Faith Sthephanie G. Furog of Catuhogan Elementary School. Together, the pair demonstrated exceptional synergy, merging their creative ideas and green thumbs to construct a stunning miniature living landscape. Their intricate design captivated the judges, outshining contenders from various schools across the division.

The dish gardening competition challenges students to conceptualize and build a visually appealing, self-contained ecosystem within a shallow container. The event demands a delicate balance of technical plant selection, spatial arrangement, and aesthetic harmony. Mambajao Central School (MCS) successfully conducted a simultaneous School Safety Emergency Response Drill (Lockdown Simulation) on September 03, 2026.

The activity aimed to test and evaluate operational readiness, refine communication protocols, and reinforce immediate crisis response capabilities during an active threat scenario.

Led by School Principal II Reme C. Rufino alongside the SDRRM Team, the simulation tested campus containment procedures and active threat response, highlighting the composure and quick action of our dedicated teachers, pupils, and parents.

Representing the school in the highly competitive mathematics event were the dynamic pair, Julia Marice Taypa and Zypher Thyon Sasil. Anchored on the timely local theme, "Ligtas Ang May Alam Mambajaonon," the competition brought together the brightest young minds from across the entire Mambajao District to test their knowledge on disaster preparedness, hazard awareness, and emergency response.
Representing Mambajao Central School, student Marqus Ethan Baruc showcased an exceptional mastery of DRRM concepts.
