Tupsan Elementary School hosts OFFICIAL OPENING of the 3-Day 2026 DIVISION SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE(September 12-14, 2026)

Theme: Journalism in the Digital Age: Upholding Truth, Ethics, and Excellence ✍️

With pride and excitement, the Division of Camiguin officially opened the 2026 Division Schools Press Conference today at Tupsan Elementary School. This a gathering that brings together young writers, campus journalists, advisers, coaches, and education leaders from across the province.

The program began with a solemn prayer led by Grade 7 student Winsleth Obradas, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the Municipal Hymn.

Dr. Rolly D. Tajale, Principal of Tupsan Elementary School, warmly welcomed everyone to our beloved community, setting a tone of joy and hospitality. Dr. Bazil T. Sabacajan, CID Chief, then shared the Statement of Purpose, reminding us of the vital role journalism plays in shaping minds and hearts. The TNHS Dance Club graced the occasion with a delightful intermission number that captivated the audience.

The event was further enriched by an Inspirational Message from Hon. Shiela Babanto, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member, who expressed her unwavering support for youth and education. Mr. Mark A. Palad, Education Program Supervisor in English, formally introduced the panel of judges and distinguished guests. The Journalist’s Creed was led with heart and conviction by Precious Lara J. Dosdos, RSPC 2026 Winner, before Dr. Exquil Bryan P. Aron, CESE, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, officially declared the 2026 DSPC open.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the Tupsan Barangay Council for their invaluable support during the DSPC 2026. By deploying their dedicated kagawad and vigilant tanod to help manage traffic, they ensured the safety and smooth flow of our community. Their presence was not just a service, but a gesture of genuine care and commitment to our learners, teachers, and guests. Truly, this partnership reflects the spirit of bayanihan that makes every school event more meaningful and successful.

May these three days be filled with learning, discovery, and meaningful stories. May you write with truth, speak with integrity, and inspire with excellence — today and always.

A SYMPHONY OF GRATITUDE 🎶❤️

Every beautiful performance has many hands behind the music. Some holding instruments, some arranging the pieces, and some quietly helping from behind the curtain.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to LGU Mambajao and to the generous individuals listed below who became part of the journey of the TUPSAN ES SCHOOL BAND.

Your kindness helped keep the music playing, from our trainers’ talent fees, decors and other necessities, to the food shared by our band participants and trainers. Every contribution, big or small, became a note in the song we are creating together.

To those who opened their hands and shared their blessings, you may not have marched with us on the field, but your generosity marched alongside our children. ❤️

Thank you for believing in our young musicians and for helping them carry their dreams a little farther. May the kindness you have given return to you in countless beautiful melodies.

Despite the rain showers this morning, nothing could stop the post-birthday celebration of our dear Congressman Jurdin Jesus M. Romualdo. We were truly honored and surprised by his personal visit, bringing not only his warm smile but also delicious snacks that brought joy to our learners and everyone in attendance.

Your presence made the celebration even more meaningful, Cong. Thank you for your genuine kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for our school community. We are truly grateful for your visit and look forward to welcoming you back to our school again soon.
