Strengthening Licensure Preparation Through Consultation and Collaboration
The Office of Licensure, Certification, and Professional Development (OLCPD) conducted a Consultative Meeting on Licensure Examination Preparation and Curriculum-Embedded Review Initiatives on September 24, 2026, at the E-Library, Bulacan State University – Main Campus.
The activity brought together academic officials, Program Chairpersons, and concerned faculty members from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) and the College of Engineering (COE) to discuss current practices, implementation concerns, and possible areas for enhancement in support of students preparing for professional licensure examinations.
For CCJE, the consultation focused on the Bachelor of Science in Criminology program and its existing initiatives for strengthening the preparation of prospective examinees for the Criminologist Licensure Examination.
For COE, the discussion centered on the implementation of curriculum-embedded review through correlation courses in the following programs:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
The meeting provided a venue for examining current review and instructional practices, student assessment and progress monitoring, alignment of course content with licensure examination competencies, intervention strategies, and other mechanisms that may contribute to stronger licensure readiness.
Through open dialogue and collaborative planning, the participating Colleges and the OLCPD reaffirmed the importance of sustained coordination, evidence-informed monitoring, and responsive institutional support in strengthening licensure examination preparation across the University.
This initiative reflects Bulacan State University’s continuing commitment to academic quality, professional readiness, and continuous improvement in licensure performance.
