Why Are You "조선 어학당(Chosen Korean Class)?"
We call it 조선(Joseon), but write it as "Chosen!"
조선(Joseon) was the name of Korean dynastic kingdom that lasted for approximately five centuries(1392-1897). At that time, western missionaries used to call this kingdom “Chosen,” believing God had chosen this small kingdom in Asia. And now, we believe God has chosen you and us to be here together according
