SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED | DTI–FTPC COCONUT PROCESSING TRAINING

The Food Technology and Processing Center (FTPC) of Mariano Peralta National High School successfully hosted the Coconut Sugar and Coconut Delicacies Product Development and Processing Training conducted in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Davao Occidental Provincial Office on September 22–23, 2026.

The two-day training brought together selected coconut farmers for an engaging and hands-on learning experience focused on product development, food processing, value addition, and the creation of quality coconut-based products.

Through the expertise of our trainers and the facilities of the FTPC, participants gained practical skills that can help transform locally available coconut resources into innovative products and potential livelihood opportunities.

The FTPC is grateful to DTI – Davao Occidental for the partnership and to everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of this meaningful training.

From local resources to innovative products, FTPC continues to process skills into opportunities.

KULTURA, PAGKAKAKILANLAN, AT PAGGALANG

Ngayong Agosto 24, 2026, ang DepEd Davao Occidental – Food Technology and Processing Center (FTPC) ay nakikiisa sa pagpapahalaga, pagkilala, at paggalang sa mayamang kultura at pagkakakilanlan ng ating Indigenous Peoples (IP).

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng katutubong/IP attire, ipinapakita natin na ang kultura ay mahalagang bahagi ng edukasyon at ng ating pagkakakilanlan bilang isang komunidad.

Higit pa sa isang kasuotan, ang bawat disenyo, kulay, at detalye ay maaaring sumasalamin sa kasaysayan, tradisyon, identidad, at pamana ng ating mga katutubong pamayanan.

Bilang isang sentro ng Food Technology and Processing, patuloy nating isinusulong ang edukasyong hindi lamang nakatuon sa kasanayan at kaalaman, kundi maging sa paggalang sa kultura, pagpapahalaga sa ating pamana, at pagkilala sa yaman ng ating komunidad.

Isuot nang may paggalang. Ipagmalaki nang may pagmamalasakit. Ipagpatuloy ang kultura.
