🌸 Konnichiwa, incoming Grade 7 Fisheriestas! 🇯🇵✨

Are you interested in expanding your horizons and learning a new language? The Davao del Sur School of Fisheries is officially opening applications for our Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) - Nihongo!

If you've ever wanted to learn how to read Japanese characters, understand or comfortably talk in basic Japanese, this foundational A1-level program is the perfect place to start your linguistic journey. ⛩️

📝 Admission Requirements
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
•Subject Grades: A Grade 6 Final Grade of at least 85 in both Filipino and English.
•General Average: A Grade 6 GWA of at least 85.
•Assessment: Pass the Language Aptitude Test.
•Interview: Undergo a short interview with our SPFL Teachers.

🏫 How to Apply
During enrolment (June 1-5, 2026), please inquire in the enrolment area for SPFL. Bring with you the report card and please prepare for the aptitude test. Testing and interview will be done on-site and on the same day.

Shortlist of successful applicants for the Grade 7SPFL-Japanese learners will be posted on our page.
