In celebration of Global Handwashing Day, the WINSider Club of Tañong Integrated School joins the global community in emphasizing the importance of proper hand hygiene. This year’s observance reminds us that clean hands are key to preventing the spread of diseases and ensuring the health and safety of everyone in our school and community.

Through consistent and proper handwashing with soap and water, we take a simple yet powerful step toward a healthier and more resilient future.
Let us continue to practice and promote this essential habit every day.

“Clean-Up Drive at Tañong Integrated School | August 30, 2025 (8:00 AM – 12:00 NN)”

With the support of various school clubs and organizations, the school community—including the principal, school admin, club advisers, and club officers—worked together to clean different areas of the campus. This activity aimed to prevent the spread of mosquitoes and eliminate their possible breeding grounds.

We're excited to share and strengthen the implementation of the
DepEd WASH in Schools (WinS) Program, which promotes a healthy and safe learning environment for our students.
WASH stands for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, and it plays a vital role in keeping our learners healthy, focused, and ready to learn.

The program is built on eight (😎 key components:
1. Oral hygiene and proper handwashing
2. Safe and adequate water supply
3. Functional toilet, handwashing, and drainage facilities
4. Environmental sanitation and proper waste management
5. Food sanitation
6. Menstrual Hygiene Management
7. Deworming
8. Hygiene and sanitation education
