From Europe to the Philippines!๐ŸŒ

The City of Malabon University and the local government of Malabon welcome the Syntax Savvy Sprachen team!

The opening of the 4-day event was held at the penthouse of the Malabon city hall, while the succeeding activities commenced at the City of Malabon University. Daniella Faith B. Ciata, the president; Dennese Joy C. Ruaya, the vice-president; and Lany Marie Q. Ladero, the treasurer, were the delegates from Res Publica in the said event.

The management simulation mini-MBA event has four training components, in which the 200 delegates from both CMU and the LGU of Malabon City participated.

One of the best highlights of the said event was the campfire in which the teams showcased nostalgic presentations about what a Malabonian and Malabon are.

โ€œHereโ€™s to strong women โ€” may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.โ€ โœจ

Happy Womenโ€™s Month! Today, we celebrate the courage of women who speak up, the resilience of those who rise after every fall, and the strength of those who continue to lead with compassion and purpose. May we honor the women who paved the way before us and empower the young girls who will shape the future. Let us continue breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and proving that a womanโ€™s voice, dreams, and leadership matter.

Together, we rise. Together, we inspire. Together, we create change. ๐Ÿ’œ

Fil-Chiโ€”peaceeeeeee! ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿฅ

Earlier today, the students from different colleges in the City of Malabon University witnessed a dragon dance performance.

Various student organizations, the CMU admins and faculty, as well as the normal students, throw candies and coins during the said activity.

The CMU community was filled with joy as the dragon went around the buildings inside the university premises to attract luck, harmony, and peace.

Government of the people, by the people, and for the people. ๐Ÿ“ข -Abraham Lincoln

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, an uprising of the people that led the late Ferdinand Marcos Sr. to be ousted from his office. Let this day be remembered as the day of the awakening of the people who hoped to have a better country to live in.

To this day, may the government officials work to serve the people and not the other way around.

We commemorate those who fought for accountability, justice, freedom, and fairness. May this day be a reminder of the power of a united voice and people who resist injustices and prejudice and uphold democracy.

[LOOK] Officially Pinned!

The 4th year students of the Political Science Program, along with other graduating students from the College of Arts and Sciences Department was officially pinned last December 11, 2025 at the CMU Grounds with the theme: "TANGLAW: 2nd Pinning and Lighting Ceremony".

Political Science seniors, may our pins serve as a reminder of our commitment to the journey ahead โ€” a symbol of the first step towards the bright future we are destined to shape. May the light we held in the ceremony ignite within us a passionate hearts, unwavering integrity, and minds that embody the spirit of true public service.

PolSci fam, this is our day! A chance to reconnect, meet new faces, learn whatโ€™s ahead, and help shape the kind of community we want this year. Weโ€™re inviting EVERYONE to a full and exciting GA packed with learning, bonding, and meaningful conversations. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Weโ€™ll start with our opening program and hymns to officially set the vibe โ€” grounded, united, and ready to grow together. Then weโ€™ll hear inspiring words from our respective Dean to fuel us with motivation as future public servants and leaders in the making.

After that, get ready for the Presentation of Organizational Overview and Plans, where youโ€™ll finally see what Res Publica has lined up: upcoming events, goals, and the direction weโ€™re taking as one PolSci community. Weโ€™ll also walk through our Constitutional By-Laws and Membership Fee so everyone understands how our organization works and how each member plays an important role.

Once weโ€™re recharged from our break and intermission (yes, may kaunting entertainment tayo!), weโ€™ll jump into the highlight of the afternoon โ€” the seminar โ€œSensitivity and Respect in Communication: Building a Culture of Understanding.โ€ This session will help us become more mindful, respectful, and effective communicators โ€” something we need not just in class, but in every space we enter.

After the seminar, the mic goes to YOU! Our Open Forum and Reflection Activity is your chance to ask, share, and express your thoughts. This is the space where your ideas and experiences truly matter.

Weโ€™ll wrap up the day with a meaningful closing message, a group photo (syempre!), and the CMU Hymn to end the GA on a strong and united note. ๐Ÿ™Œ

At the end of the day, this assembly isnโ€™t just a formality โ€” itโ€™s a moment to build connections, strengthen our identity as PolSci students, and remind ourselves that this community grows because of all of us.

๐Ÿ“Œ So mark your calendars, bring your energy, and join us!
Letโ€™s start the semester with purpose, unity, and excitement.
See you there, PolSci fam! ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
