[ADVISORY]

Following the announcement of the City Government of Malabon and the issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 129 by the Office of the President of the Philippines regarding class and work arrangements for August 19, 2026, please be guided by the following:

• Integrated School classes will shift to synchronous online modality. Teachers may use the University’s internet facilities on campus in conducting their classes.

• Tertiary Education Department enrollment will resume as scheduled, with onsite and online enrollment services available.

• University offices will resume onsite operations. Administrators and Non Teaching Personnel (NTP) are expected to report onsite.

Members of the DLSAU community are advised to continue monitoring official announcements and to prioritize their safety.

𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝!

As part of the Graduate Studies and Applied Research continuing commitment to scholarship and professional practice, graduate students undertake a series of academic defense examinations that serve as key milestones in the development of research grounded in contemporary professional contexts.

On 25 July 2026, Ms. Geraldine Obahib, a candidate in the Master of Business Administration programme at De La Salle Araneta University, successfully defended her entrepreneurial proposal before an academic panel.

The panel was chaired by Dr. Yna Ala, Dean of the College of Business, Management and Accountancy. She was joined by Ms. Rowena Tesorio Head PLACES Office, and Mr. Adrian Jasper Cruz, faculty member of the College of Business, Management and Accountancy and doctoral student at the Graduate Studies and Applied Research.

The proposal defense provided an opportunity for scholarly dialogue, with the panel offering critical evaluation and constructive recommendations to strengthen the study's conceptual and practical dimensions.
The successful defense represents an important stage in Ms. Obahib's graduate research journey and underscores the role of graduate education in advancing evidence-informed innovation and professional practice.

Dr. Socorro Aguja, Program Chair of Graduate Studies at De La Salle Araneta University, together with Dr. Maricar Prudente, Consultant to the Graduate Studies program, led the De La Salle Araneta University delegation to the 9th ARAL 2026 Conference held at De La Salle University–Manila from 14 to 16 May 2026.

The delegation was composed primarily of Doctor of Philosophy students from DLSAU, along with one former Master of Arts in Education student, fostering the University’s continuing commitment to scholarly engagement and academic research in the field of education.
