PHINMA Education is now in Pasay City, making student success more accessible through its recent acquisition of Southeastern College.

"With every school we bring into our network, our focus is helping more Filipino students complete their education and move forward with better opportunities,” said PHINMA Education Philippines Country Head Happy Tan. “Many of our students are the first in their families to go to college. We want them to know that college is possible—and once they begin their journey, we are committed to walking with them every step of the way.”

"PHINMA and PHINMA Education Vice Chairman Magdaleno Albarracin Jr., and his wife, Trinidad Albarracin, committed to donate P30 million annually from the managed fund to support about 30,000 students.

The funds will back two flagship programs under the company’s foundation: one provides scholarships of P30,000 a year to qualified second- to fourth-year college students; the other offers financial assistance to students facing emergencies that could disrupt their studies."

Each one of us is responsible for ensuring better governance for our country and uplifting the lives of our fellow countrymen, PHINMA Corp. Chairman and CEO Ramon R. del Rosario, Jr. said during his interview with Radyo Veritas last Feb. 6. This entails being informed of national issues to better understand our role in addressing them, he added.

During his induction into the Education Leaders Forum Fellowship, PHINMA Corp. President and COO Dr. Chito B. Salazar said being intentional with providing basic services to the underserved is key to achieving true national development. Among these essentials is quality and accessible basic education.

The Fellowship's only Filipino inductee this year, Dr. Salazar also enjoined his fellow global education leaders to ensuring equal access to quality learning for all.
