MHS BSP 1st Batch of Scouts to take the NTC Class D Licensure Examination 📝 Succesfully passed.

The Boy Scouts of MHS proudly celebrate another milestone as the Batch 1 examinees successfully passed the NTC Class D Licensure Examination 🎙️. This achievement reflects their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to developing their skills in communication and public service.

Passing the NTC Class D Licensure Examination allows the scouts to legally and responsibly operate amateur radio equipment 📡. The examination covered topics such as radio laws, call sign usage, frequency regulations, emergency communication procedures, and basic radio operating practices. Despite the challenges, the scouts demonstrated determination, focus, and confidence throughout the entire process.

This accomplishment highlights the scouts willingness to learn beyond the classroom and their perseverance in mastering new skills. It also reflects the continuous support and guidance 🧑‍🏫 provided by their scout leaders and licensed radio operators who helped them prepare for the examination.

Becoming licensed amateur radio operators opens opportunities for the scouts to participate in communication-related activities 🗣️, disaster preparedness programs 🚨, and various public service initiatives 🧑‍🤝‍🧑.

📍 PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City

MHS-BSP Scouts embarked on an educational journey to the PAGASA Planetarium🌠 and the PAGASA Weather and Flood Forecasting Center🌫🌊, gaining meaningful insights and enriching experiences throughout the visit.

During our visit to the PAGASA Planetarium, we deepened our understanding of astronomy and space science. Through an immersive projection presentation🎥, we explored various wonders of space🌌, including the solar system, constellations, and planets. The experience further sparked our curiosity and appreciation for science as we learned how it helps uncover the mysteries of the universe above us.✨️

Our visit to the PAGASA Weather and Flood Forecasting Center was equally informative and engaging. Scouts were introduced to the technologies and methods used by meteorologists to monitor typhoons🌀, rainfall🌧, floods🌊 and wind🌫 patterns across the country. More importantly, the activity highlighted the vital role of science in safeguarding communities and saving lives, especially in a disaster-prone country like the Philippines🇵🇭.

Watching the sunset at Libingan ng mga Bayani felt different tonight. The sky slowly turned shades of gold and orange, and for a while, everything just seemed still and quiet. 🌅

Standing there, you could not help but think about the lives, stories, and sacrifices of the heroes resting in this place. It did not feel grand or distant. It felt personal, like a gentle reminder of how much was given for the freedom we have today. ⚖️

As the light faded, the lighting ceremony began. One by one, the candles were lit, softly illuminating the grounds. It was simple, but meaningful. It felt like a promise that even as time passes, we will continue to remember and honor those who have sacrificed for our country. 🇵🇭🫡

Moments like this make you pause and reflect. Not just on history, but on what it means to carry their legacy in our everyday lives. ✨

Senior Scouts gathered together for an 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 where in they talked about the 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙛 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨📝 (GPOA) for the 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 S.Y 2026-2027🗓. This is truly a 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓮 meeting that emphasized the 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 of cooperation, initiative, and dedication to their 𝒅𝒖𝒕𝒚.
