Dr Maria Regina "Gina" Hechanova-Alampay has been appointed as Dean of the Dr Rosita G Leong School of Social Sciences for an initial 3-year term, from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2029.

She succeeds Dr Czarina “Bopeep” A Saloma-Akpedonu, who is the incoming Vice President for Higher Education.

Congratulations to Dr. Philip Arnold P. Tuaño, former Dean of the Ateneo School of Government, on his exceptional scholarly publication, “Outlook and Policy Options for Philippine Employment Towards 2040.”

His remarkable work earned the prestigious ASOG Outstanding Scholarly Work Award at the 25th University Scholarly Work Awards, held on May 6, 2026 at The Loft, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University. This achievement highlights his significant contribution to advancing research and policy discourse on the future of employment in the Philippines.

ATENEO NAMED TOP PH UNIVERSITY IN THE RANKINGS

The Ateneo de Manila University emerged as the top-ranked Philippine school in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings, out of six local schools ranked by the body.

Meanwhile, 42 other Philippine schools received a "reporter" status, which meant that they provided data but did not meet the THE's criteria to receive a rank.

The Ateneo School of Government is looking for Training Associate for the Executive Education Program.
