Following today’s Miting de Avance and Elections, with a voter turnout of 80 out of 119 newly elected and appointed Student Council members, the Commission on Student Elections (COSEL) hereby announces the newly elected University Student Council Officers for A.Y. 2026-2027.

𝗠𝘅. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗮, the Newly Elected USC President from the Institute of Nursing

𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗵 “𝗥𝗲𝗱” 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗱, the Newly Elected USC Vice President from the College of Business and Financial Science

𝗠𝘀. 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗮, the Newly Elected USC Secretary General from the Institute of Arts and Design

Their election reflects the mandate granted to them by the electoral body. As they assume their respective roles, they are bound to uphold transparency, accountability, and responsible governance in service of the student body.

HAPPENING NOW | The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐔𝐒𝐂-𝐌𝐃𝐀) is currently taking place at the 𝑼𝑴𝒂𝒌 𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒎 as candidates and the student body come together for one of the culminating events of this year’s student election season.

Aspiring USC student leaders are now presenting their platforms, visions, and advocacies before the university community. Students are still welcome to come and witness the event as future leaders share their plans and commitments for the student body.

Composed of former student leaders and alumni who once served the student body, these panelists are entrusted to delve deeper into the candidates’ platforms, challenge their visions, and uphold the standards of leadership expected from future USC Executive Board.

As voices of experience and accountability, they will help ensure that the next set of student leaders are prepared to serve with competence, integrity, and genuine commitment to the Herons and Lady Herons.

Being informed and engaged members of the student body means taking part in the conversations that shape our university. Through asking meaningful and relevant questions, we help promote accountability, transparency, and genuine dialogue among student leaders—ensuring that student concerns and perspectives are heard throughout the electoral process.

Submitted questions will be compiled to be raised during the Q&A Segment from the Student Body, where the USC candidates will directly address the concerns and inquiries of the students.
